QVHA Meeting Minutes

Present: Chris Whitt, Stacey Whitt, Josh Morphew, Jenilee Harwell, Sue Tracey, Kathleen Grubby

Absent: Matt Ward

Meeting was called to order at 8:00 pm.

Agenda Items

Dues. 101 of our 156 homes paid their 2019 dues; that is about 65%.
Entrance Landscaping. Chris will contact The Lawn Team about cutting back to biweekly service for the winter months. One of the new bushes on the north side of the entrance did not survive and will need replaced. The needed electrical work has been completed.
Entrance Christmas Décor. We anticipate being able to reuse what we have with possible small replacements needed. We will aim to install the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
Newsletter. The newsletter needs to go out shortly. Sue has been working on it; Chris will write the front page article and forward it to Sue. We will mention that we need a president and 2-3 more block captains.
National Night Out. This second-year event went well. There are some potential volunteers we will follow up with. The secretary will send thank you notes to KPD Officer James Intia and KFD Station #3.
Holiday Décor Contest. This is scheduled for Sunday, December 8 at 5:00 pm. Josh will check with City of Keller/Keller PD to ask about a neighborhood “parade” with possible hayride to view the entrants. Stacy will work on a new voting procedure so we can announce the winner that night. We also need more lighting for participants on the walk and will look into procuring mini flashlights.
Our next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at 8:00 pm.
